Unsolved Homicide
Columbus police and Central Ohio Crime Stoppers are seeking information in the unsolved homicide of 21-year-old Candice Taylor.
Candice Taylor, 21, lived in southeast Columbus and maintained regular contact with her family until March 2017. On March 28, 2017, two human legs were recovered from a load of cardboard at a trash facility on South Columbus Airport Road. Her family reported her missing in November 2017 after messages from a newly created Facebook account did not convince them she was safe. DNA testing identified the remains as Candice in February 2019. The rest of her remains have not been recovered, and authorities are investigating her death as a homicide.
