Jane Schreur

Jane was dropped off on the north side of Mason City by a family member on May 22, 2019. Human remains were recovered on 7/18/2020 and positively identified as Jane Irene Schreur. Due to partial recovery, the missing person case will remain open in NamUs.

Duwane Dreher

Dwane was last seen in Mason City, IA around 7:30pm on 11/07/1955 by his father. His vehicle was found near the river with his belongings inside on 11/08/1955. Dwane may have been sited around 12pm on 11/08/1955 walking north on S. Federal. It's reported that he said he was going to Chicago, IL. Authorities drug the river but Dwane has never been found. Family and friends have not seen or heard from him since.

Rodney Olsen

He reportedly left his rural home at 1 a.m. to visit someone and has not been seen since.

Grace Esquivel

Grace Esquivel was reported missing to the Mason City Police Department (641-421-3636), in Mason City on June 10, 1983.

Jodi Sue Huisentruit

Jodi Huisentruit had left her residence at approximately 4:00am for her scheduled shift at a local television station where she anchored the morning news. When investigators arrived at her apartment complex they found her red Miata convertible in the parking lot. Personal items were scattered around her vehicle. Witnesses indicate that they heard a scream that morning. Investigators are looking for a white mid 1980s Ford Econoline van.
