Dwane was last seen in Mason City, IA around 7:30pm on 11/07/1955 by his father. His vehicle was found near the river with his belongings inside on 11/08/1955. Dwane may have been sited around 12pm on 11/08/1955 walking north on S. Federal. It's reported that he said he was going to Chicago, IL. Authorities drug the river but Dwane has never been found. Family and friends have not seen or heard from him since.
