Jeffery Combs

Jeffrey Lynn Combs was reported missing to the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office on 10/23/2008. Jeffrey lived with his mother on Browns Waugh Street in North Wilkesboro and was last seen at the home. When his mother came home from work around 11 o’clock the morning of Oct. 24, her son was gone. Food was left in a hot pan on the stove and she found wet tattered clothes that belonged to her son. He had left a note that his scooter and two helmets, along with a cell phone had been stolen. “In the note he said he was gone to track it down and, ‘If I’m not back by dark, come looking for me.” After failing to locate her son, the mother contacted investigators, deputies joined in the search. A couple of days after the disappearance, law enforcement officers found the missing scooter near the river off Suncrest Orchard Road with pieces missing. They also located one of the missing helmets. His mother reported that shortly before his disappearance he had befriended some homeless people who had been camping along the Reddies River not far from their home.

Mr. Shew received a call to his residence and left his home and was not seen again. Mr. Shew left wearing a blue jogging suit driving his 1980 Oldsmobile with a tag of RPT-660 VIN 3Y37YAX138752

James Campbell

On April 08, 2019, Mr. Campbell left his residence by unknown method. Mr. Campbell spoke to his family by social media on this date indicating he would return home later that day. Mr. Campbell's never returned home and has not been in contact with family or friends since this date.
