Chase Hanson

On 5/16/22 A family member reported Chase HANSON as missing. HANSON was last seen leaving Maliko Gulch and was heading to Paia Town sometime in early April. HANSON was wearing a dark-colored shirt, dark-colored shorts and black shoes.

William Stanga

Stanga was swimming and spearfishing with his cousin and friend on the above date near Mama's Fish House in Paia. The cousin and friend returned to shore and lost sight of Stanga. Stanga was never seen again.

Laura A. Vogel

On the afternoon of February 21, 2010, Laura spent time at a friend’s house before leaving later that day. She informed her friend that she planned to camp under the stars near the Pauleheh Lighthouse, located on the north end of the island. At 8:20 p.m., Laura sent a text message stating that she was camping near the Birthday Pools and had met some locals. This was the last known communication from her. She has not been seen or heard from since. During the investigation, it was discovered that Laura’s cell phone made two brief, 30-second calls later that evening to an individual who records indicate that Laura had no known prior contact or connection with. At the time, he was homeless and living in a van near the area where Laura had planned to camp. Additionally, the individual had a documented history of sexual assault and aggressive behavior. If you have any information regarding Laura’s disappearance, please contact Maui County PD. Any detail, no matter how small, could be crucial in helping to bring answers to her family and loved ones
