Nickolas was 54 years old when he was last seen driving a friend's car in Apple Valley back in 1993. The car was later recovered in Las Vegas; it had all of his property in it, including his false teeth. When the car was recovered, it was fully functional, no keys and had gas in it. Christina attended church with family and later went to a friend’s house in Apple Valley. She left about 1:45 a.m. the next morning with her small dog, “Coco.” Later that day, the California Highway Patrol located some of her property on the roadway near Highway 247 and Bodick Road in Johnson Valley.
