Kaidena "Kay" Wood was reported missing to the Warren Co. Iowa Sheriff's Office on July 30, 2011. The Wood home was destroyed by fire and autopsy tests have confirmed the remains of the deceased male found on July 31, 2011 in the burned home are that of 79 year old James 'Bill' Wood. Autopsy results also indicate Bill Wood died of multiple gun shot wounds. The manner of death is considered homicide. The Wood's red 2009 Chevy Silverado pickup was recovered in Kansas City, Missouri on July 31, 2011.
