Kristina, her brother John (MP # 6448) and their mother, Van Nguyen were last seen on April 18, 2002. They were traveling in a green 1997 Nissan Pathfinder with OH license plates ADH7739. John's nickname is Tai. Kristina's ears are pierced and her nickname is Hang. CAUTION ADVISED. On 10/17/2021 the vehicle the family was last seen travelling in was recovered from the Ohio River at approximately River Mile 498. The vehicle presumably entered the waterway at a ramp located in Lesko Park in that jurisdiction. Partial human remains were recovered that were confirmed with DNA to match the mother, Stephanie Nguyen aka Van Nguyen. The vehicle was approximately 52 feet underwater and suffered extensive damage due to the passage of time and river conditions. DNA reference samples are on file for Stephanie, the father of the children and their maternal grandparents.
