Melvin was visiting friends in the Spring Branch area of Houston, Tx on his way home to Marble Falls, Tx. He was planning on making a stop in Brenham, Tx to buy a motorcycle from another friend. However, Melvin's Chevy pickup truck was found only a few blocks from his friends house in Spring Branch. He has not been seen or heard from since.
