Summary
On April 25th, 1996, Dean Dawson spent the night at a friend's home on State Route 38 in the Town of Sterling, Cayuga County, New York. He was last seen at about 11:30 pm. When his friend awoke the following morning Dean was gone. The friend reported that Dean's bed had been slept in. There have been no confirmed sightings of Dean since. There was an unconfirmed sighting on April 26th at 7:30 am on the Nichols Road Bridge in Martville, NY. This is within a couple of miles of Dean's friend's house. At the time of his disappearance Dawson lead a semi-transient lifestyle and had no permanent address and no vehicle. The investigation into Dean's disappearance remains open.
