Prior to that, the Portales Police Department had contact with her on or about July 13, 2024. Her family said Idalia is experiencing homelessness. They said it is unusual for her to not contact anyone in the family for this amount of time. Idalia did mention during her last contact with her family that she was thinking of moving to Texas.
