EDWIN CORTES

Edwin Cortes was last seen by a family member at his residence on 07/19/2024 at approximately 1600 hours. Edwin frequently walks (does not drive a car) from his house to one of the gas stations on the corner of Lee Vista Blvd. and S. Econlockhatchee Trail (Wawa or Marathon). After going to the gas station, Edwin often goes into the wooded area behind Marathon or the Orlando Fire Station. He reportedly took money out of an ATM at the aforementioned Wawa gas station on Monday 07/22/2024 (unknown time). Law enforcement checked both of these areas and the wooded area along S. Econlockhatchee Trail and was met with negative results. An attendant at Marathon stated he knew who Edwin was, but he had not seen him for approximately one week. An employee at Wawa stated he knew Edwin and had seen him taking money out of the ATM on Monday but did not know where he went after that.
