Summary
On 10-25-2005, Dustin Gabel was observed by a Lifeguard arriving at Yokohama Bay in his vehicle. He was witnessed exiting his vehicle, removing a 9' white surfboard, and paddling out into the ocean. On 10-26-2005, the same Lifeguard returned to work, and observed Gabel's vehicle still parked in the same location. Upon inspection, the vehicle was unlocked, the key was in the ignition, and his personal items were found within. A three day search of the area was conducted by First Responders however, Gabel was never located.
