Summary
Mark McNabb was last seen on February 7, 1998, when he was dropped off just north of the intersection of North Fork Drive and Shepherd Saddle Road in the town of Three Rivers, CA. Mark intended to hike to the Lodgepole area of Sequoia National Park via the Colony Mill Trail and return to his home on North Fork Drive on February 8th. On February 9, 1998, at approximately 2:00pm, Sequoia National Park Rangers were notified that Mark was overdue from his hike. Mark was approximately 1.5 miles outside the park boundary when he was last seen. On February 10, 1998, a multi-agency search and rescue effort was undertaken including helicopters, ground search teams, and search dogs. The search yielded no definitive sign of Mark.
