Martin Austin was seen asleep at the family home in Fairfield, CA by his mother at 8:00 a.m. on 03/15/1974. On the same date, at approximately 12:00 p.m., Mr. Austin picked up his work-study paycheck at Solano Community College in Fairfield, CA. Later the same afternoon, Mr. Austin was seen by his brother-in-law at a bank in Fairfield, CA, where he cashed his $130 paycheck. This was the last confirmed sighting of Martin Austin. Martin failed to report for work at the public library in Fairfield the next day, 03/16/1974. Mr. Austin's vehicle was found abandoned in the parking lot of Linda Mar Shopping Center in Pacifica, CA on 03/17/1974. Foul play is suspected in the disappearance.
