He was expected to spend the night in Swanneck Slough before continuing to his fish camp near the Kantishna River with plans to return to Nenana on the evening of 09-10-2023. His boat was located completely submerged, but James was not inside. Searches of the area have been conducted and have been unsuccessful in locating him.
