Summary
Carroll "Don" Parkins entered private timber property near the Mt. Hood National Forest at a forest gate on Rooster Rock Rd prior to the Rooster Rock Road Trailhead. Don had indicated that he was going to be shed hunting to get some exercise. Don's vehicle was found at the gate. An eight day search was coordinated by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office that did not find any leads to Don's whereabouts.
