On October 18, 2022, Kathleen "Kathy" Jones and her sister (Wendy) had returned to their mother's residence to clean out the residence, following the passing of their mother earlier that day. After cleaning for a while, Wendy decided to go for a walk around the retirement community in which their mother had resided. Wendy advised that during her walk, she met Kathy, walking away from their mother's residence in the direction of the community pond. According to Wendy, Kathy advised that she too was going for a walk and going to look at the fountain. Wendy later returned to the mother's residence, but Kathy has not been seen since.
