MP crossed the border through the Piedras Negras area (if the coordinates are accurate it looks like he crossed between Piedras Negras and Nuevo Laredo) in a group with a guide. He last communicated with his family on September 19 via text message from his cell phone. According to the guide, MP couldn't continue near coordinates 28.119441, -99.804929 and was about 3 hours away from the pick up spot. The guide said MP stayed behind on September 21 around 3-4 am.
