They stated they had last spoken to Perez over the phone on 03/09/21, and had not heard from him since which is unusual. Officers responded to Perez’s home; they made observations indicating Perez had not been in the house for several days. Efforts to locate Perez have been unsuccessful. On 03/18/21, Perez's vehicle was located abandoned on the Kenai Spur Extension near Captain Cook State Park. Searches of the area with dogs were unsuccessful in locating him.
