The missing person, William (Will) Joseph Murphy, walked away from his residence in Chesterfield, Missouri on 03/07/2019. Will was spotted by several people during various times in March and April 2019 in the the downtown St. Louis area near the Gateway Arch and the Amtrak/MetroLink transit center. He is known to frequent used record/book stores and ride mass transit for transportation. Will does not utilize email, social media, credit cards, checkbook or have a cell phone. Will has past ties to the Syracuse, New York area including friends and colleagues at Syracuse University where he spent many years in the history department (Masters, PHD). There has been no confirmed contact with Will since the early part of 2019.
