Missing adult Fernando Cristobal Ortiz was last seen in the City of Porterville on 5/2/2016 when he was arrested. Ortiz was booked into the custody of the Tulare County Sheriff's Department and when he was arrested he disclosed to officer's that he no longer wanted to be in the City of Porterville and had plans to return to Mexico with family. Fernando has not been contacted since his release and other family members have confirmed Fernando is with family members in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico. Fernando may be avoiding family in California.
