Faisal was a seaman serving as a member of the engine room crew on the vessel SS Northern Lights which was traveling in good weather and calm seas from Anchorage, AK to Tacoma, WA. He was last seen in the afternoon or early evening of 06/25/1997 when he left the lower engine room. Faisal was never seen again and he is presumed to have gone overboard and drowned.
