Summary
Amber was riding with a male friend who had stolen a vehicle to take Amber's mother to an appointment. Amber and the male got into a verbal argument on a residential street and police were called. A police pursuit was initiated when Amber and the male fled from officers. Amber's mother was also in the vehicle and said Amber and the male abandoned the car and ran into the woods. Police responded and searched the area. The officers talked with Amber's mother, but were unable to locate Amber. The next day, the male friend turned himself into the Evansville Police Department. Amber has never been heard from again.
