Darin and his brother Kevin left out of New Harbor aboard a boat, the North Wind, a stern dragger. They left on September 6, 1990 to go on a 4-5 day fishing trip. Contact attempts were made on September 7th and September 9th with negative results. On September 10th another vessel noticed a large fuel spill on the water, the next day this vessel pulled up a body. This was identified at Kevin Crocker. Circumstances indicate the boat sank of unknown reasons on September 7, 1990.
