Simon OWEN was visiting from Texas, and was initially last seen at his residence on 6-28-1994 at 0730 hours. On 6-29-1994, at about 1215 hours, a witness reportedly spoke to OWEN near the pond area within the Manoa Falls Trail. OWEN failed to show for work and return home thereafter. On 7-3-94, OWEN's bicycle was found still locked to a tree at the entrance to the Manoa Falls Trail. An extensive search was conducted for OWEN, but he was never located.
