According to court documents sometime between March 21st and April 5th, 1984, Cathleen Virgina Farmer accepted a ride home from three men. The men took Farmer to an apartment on Campus Drive in Belpre, raped and murdered her. Court papers say the men then disposed of her body by dropping it over the Memorial Bridge.
