Svoboda was out on the Columbia River fishing with a Larry G. Mansur DOB 9-19-1930. They and the boat went missing on 1-21-1996. On 6-9-1996 Mansur's body was found approx. 2 miles downstream from the boat launch where they had put in. Svoboda and the boat have not been found. The boat is a 1969 Slickcraft 15 ft red/white runabout WN6776MD with HIN # C70021.
