William left his home around 1pm on March 22, 2010 and said he was going to go get some bottled water but never returned. A little over a week later, his car was found in ditch at the lake (Sutherland Reservoir in Ramona, CA) on a road normally closed to the public. His eye glasses also found within 10 feet of car. Along with him, his keys, wallet, ring and watch went missing. Car was locked.
