Yerex left the airport on May 27,1987 with a flight plan to go to Marsh Harbour in the Bahamas. Yerex was the only one aboard. His last confirmed contact was over Nassau in the Bahamas, he was ready to descend into Marsh Harbour. A Coast Guard search found no evidence of a crash.
