Gregory's parents notified law enforcement on 01/24/1980 that Gregory did not report to work (Copyset in Leitchfield, KY); however, her vehicle was found secured in the business parking lot. Co-workers noted that, given that Gregory did not report for work and that Gregory's car was backed into a space that she did not normally use, gave them concern. Subsequent contact was made with Gregory's ex-husband, who reported that his last contact with Gregory was on 01/23/1980, at approximately 5:20 pm CST. At that time, the ex-husband stated that Gregory left their children in his care and stated that she would be gone for 2 - 3 days.
