Guide supposedly left him behind. Someone said he was in prison. A woman who was in the group with him will not talk to the family. She just said, “he was left alive, about two hours from a ranch.” She refuses to say any more to the family. She did say that he was disoriented and throwing up, and was left with an apple, pedialyte and a radio.
