Luis Alberto Lira Chagala
Sasabe, AZ

Luis was last seen crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. The group entered the U.S. to the West of Sasabe. When they were walking, they could see large water tanks up on a hill. They were in a car, and then after 40 minutes of riding in the car on a dirt road (at small intersection they could see the lights of a town), the border patrol came, and everyone ran. Luis was not caught, and never was heard from again. They were near San Pedro, near ranches on the Indian reservation. Luis was traveling with his brother, who was caught by border patrol at this time. Border Patrol records show he was apprehended north of San Pedro, near SR 86.
