John Hahn left his home in San Diego, CA (where he was a long time resident) for Laughlin, NV on June 10, 1989. Prior to leaving for Nevada, John dropped his wife off at the airport. He was reportedly carrying a large amount of cash with him. On the weekend of the 4th of July, 1989, witnesses indicated having seen John Scott Hahn at a Laughlin convenience store where he placed a phone call. He was not heard from again since that time.
