Mr. Kai Smaaland is originally from Norway and was an electrician onboard of one of the Norwegian Cruise Lines ships, the S.S. Norway. On May 3, 1997, he was last seen on the cruise ship, while it was docked at the Port of Miami. A search of the ship was done before leaving port again, but he was unable to be located. Mr. Smaaland may have been wearing his white staff uniform, which consists of a white buttoned-down shirt, white shorts and white shoes.
