Zheng went missing while traveling to visit one of his daughters in Iowa. He never arrived and has not been seen or heard from again. He was last seen on 09/17/2000. His wife, Xiang Sun (MP #12715), disappeared one week later on 09/23/2000 after returning home from work and going to bed. She had not been seen or heard from again.
