He was a transient, and road the railroad around the country. He would work awhile and then get back on a train. He always visited areas with family and always visited and stayed with them. The last anyone heard of him was a cousin that received a letter from him in Tiptonville TN, 1965. She wrote him back in the summer of 1965 and her letter was returned to her. His parents, brothers and sisters are all deceased.
