Missing was reportedly involved in a crash on the Cumberland River Bridge, Livingston Co KY. After the initial crash, Hastings was assisted by a passing/motorist/witness who stated operator stayed in her own car for a short period of time. Out of concern for safety of witness, Mr. Hastings told her to continue on. Witness left and that was the last known sighting of Mr. Hastings. currently it is believed the missing was outside of his vheicle and either jumped or was struck by a 2nd vehicle and thrown from the bridge into the river below.
