Jose Rafael crossed the border on foot with a small group of other migrants. They started walking June 1st. On June 3rd, the group heard ATV's and everyone ran. There was a helicopter above them. Rafael was hiding. All of the group was apprehended by Border Patrol except for Jose Rafael and 2 women. The three of them continued to walk alone. The women say that they were walking with Jose Rafael, all of them were exhausted by the heat. They then noticed after awhile that Jose Rafael was no longer behind them. The two women were apprehended June 11th in the evening. They told Border Patrol that they had left a kid behind.
