Presque Isle, ME
Investigation shows that Vining last worked at Smythe's IGA in Presque Isle and that she last appeared for work there in October 1998. In 2012 a man was convicted for her murder. The Maine Supreme Court upheld this ruling in 2015. Her remains were never found but believe to have been incinerated.
