Barbara Vanwinkle was last seen on May 21, 1994, 9:00pm, at the Shore Stop in Bethany Beach. On June 9, 1994 at 10:00pm Barbara Vanwinkle's car was found in the parking lot of Mid Sussex Shopping Center on Rt. 113. Police responded to the scene and found the car unsecured with keys on the floor of the driver's side. Barbara's purse was on the passenger seat covered by a sweater.
