Bean was last seen on February 16, 1993 at the Facenda-Whitaker Bowling Alley in East Norriton Township, PA. A neighbor reported Bean missing on February 27, 1993. His 1991 black Ford Ranger bearing PA registration CHZ-1833 was located in the bowling alley parking lot on March 1, 1993. Bean was alert and well aware of his surroundings at the time of his disappearance. His residence in Skippack Township has since been demolished and is now the site of the Skippack Elementary School.
