Satterwaite was last seen in Mobile, Alabama on November 7, 1998. He was supposed to meet his sister in Louisiana for Thanksgiving. He never showed up, and no one has heard from him since. On November 12, 1998, his 1993 Lincoln Town Car was found at the corner of Highway 45 and Clarke Avenue in Prichard, Alabama. It had apparently been there for several days. When police looked inside the car they found a cell phone, a radar detector and the keys still in the ignition. Foul play is suspected.
