Mary Dietz was last seen waiting for her morning paper at 3:00am on Oct. 14, 1997. When the garbage collector arrived to empty the dumpster he noticed that it was open on one side. It is believed that Mary Dietz climbed into the dumpster, but searches of the landfill have ended with negative results.
