At the time Christina Roof was reported missing, she was 27 years old and previously lived in Everett, Washington. Christina was last seen in Whatcom County during March 1996. On March 24, 1996, at 6:53 P.M. a Canadian resident reported to the Langley Detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police that a distraught female, who identified herself as Christina, was in the road on Old Yale Road, British Columbia, Canada. Her silver 1986 Mazda was discovered abandoned at the end of Froberg Road, approximately 300 yards south of the U.S. / Canadian Border. The area where Christina's vehicle was abandoned was searched. There was no evidence of foul play or of a possible destination. Christina has had no contact with family or friends since her disappearance.
