On the night of his disappearance, Dale was last seen by multiple witnesses on Mackinaw Trail headed north to Sault Ste.Marie for downtown around 11:15pm. and midnight. He had attended a wedding earlier that evening, which ended with friends going to a local bar called The Downtowner. He has not been seen or heard from since. It unknown when Dale exited the vehicle between Mackinaw Trail and the Downtowner. Dale left behind a wife and three children, which family members say was out of character, as he is very family-oriented. He didn't have more than $5 or so in his pocket and was intoxicated.
