On the evening of December 4, 1976, the MP and her husband planned to have dinner with friends. The MP's husband reported that the MP was recovering from the flu and went to sit in the car during dinner as she was "feeling woozy." The MP's husband stated that ten to fifteen minutes later he and their mutual friends left the restaurant they had eaten at and returned to the parking lot to discover the MP and their vehicle gone. She has not been seen since. -newspaper article from the Orlando Sentinel, December 18, 1976 (see documents section)
