The coast guard is working around the clock to try and find Thomas "Andy" Richmond, who remains lost at sea. Thursday morning the 55-year-old left his canal-side Ocean Isle Beach home, jumped into his boat Heads or Tails and hit the water. The time was 8:30 a.m. Thursday night Richmond's boat washed ashore just south of Myrtle Beach, spotted by tourists who noticed that the engine was still running and the lights were still on. Now the Coast Guard is searching feverishly by air and by sea, trying to find Richmond. Agencies involved in the search included the Coast Guard, South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, and Horry County. The search covered an area the size of the state of Rhode Island. Rescue crews searched for approximately 48 hours covering 1,783 Square Nautical Miles
