On 1/18/1989, THOMAS GOFF stole a customer's vehicle from the Crystal Clean car wash in San Luis Obispo CA where he was an employee. On 2/27/1989 the stolen vehicle was located by the San Francisco Police Department in the 2700 block of Gough St which is approx 1.25 miles away from the Golden Gate Bridge. (Approx 20 minute walk to the bridge.) GOFF's wallet and the key to the stolen vehicle were found unattended midway down the Golden Gate Bridge.
