Charles McAlister's truck was located at the intersection of Rutherford Beach Rd and Trosclair Rd by Cameron Parish Sheriff's Office in the early morning hours of August 4th. The vehicle belonging to McAlister is a white 2011 Toyota Tundra bearing Louisiana license plate B658023. The truck appeared to have gone off the roadway and had minor damage. The truck was unoccupied. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office received the missing person's report on August 5th and discovered that his vehicle had been involved in an accident in Cameron Parish and had been towed. McAlister was last seen in the late hours of August 3rd. Charles McAlister is a 71-year-old white male with gray hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5'10" tall and weighs 155 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white sports cap which had the following wording: Island Moorings Yacht Club and Marina, Port Aransas, Texas, light grey t-shirt, light colored denim blue jeans, white New Balance Brand tennis shoes, and glasses. He does have a mustache. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in locating McAlister.
